Family makes fun drama

One of my favorites from Brenda Jackson. A tale of cousins and family drama which keeps you guessing. While happily ever after is the goal, the road is not always paved in gold. Enjoy the Bennett cousins and this fun tale of love, drama and more drama

I Have Read This Book A Million Times!

I read this book for the first time over ten years ago. I pick it up every few years and I love it just as much as the first time. It was even better listening to it with my husband during our long car rides. It's 2021 and this book is still timeless 20 years later.

Pretty good

I really enjoyed parts and got through other parts. I almost quit listening a couple of times, but she had me wanting to find out what happened next so I kept listening. Ron Butler is a good narrator, but some of his female voices aren’t the best and one character was described as being of mixed Hispanic and Anglo heritage, but definitely sounded Deep South black and not Texan. Some of the sex soliloquies are a bit much, but I am thinking this isn’t a new book based on all the landlines and answering machines and videotapes mentioned, so that explains a few things. Worth a listen.

Great Read!

This book is filled with lots of exciting events. Give it a try…it’s really good! I haven’t read a book with this much intent and excitement in a long time.

Love Wins‼️

I loved the book‼️ I’m a distant cousin of the Bennett’s I can’t wait to go to the next Family Reunion. Brenda Jackson did her thing once again. She creates interesting and loving characters in all of her books and the story lines are great too. Yaayyyy for LOVE‼️

rainy day read

I have a number of her book and I have always enjoyed them. this one touched on a family level that I feel most family do, don't want to tell to much but you can feel the under line love each has for one another.

Torn

I really enjoyed this story. I’m just torn about how I feel about Michael and Tay. I understand that they are not blood but they grew up as family. I’m just not sure how I would feel if this happened in my family.

As Usual BJ!

A good solid family story by Ms. Jackson. Heartbreak, joy and laughter. I don't do spoilers, just suffice to say I loved the book and the Bennett family.
